About Us

A real legend in Cologne’s gastronomic scene, you can look forward to an amazing experience at Restaurant Lederer. Rhenish flavours meet an international atmosphere inside our restaurant’s old walls, where you’ll enjoy a taste of local history as well as great food. Traces along the wall will transport you straight back to the year 1468. After the Second World War, the building became one of the first reconstructed inns in the shadow of the city’s famous cathedral.

Make your way to our restaurant on Unter Fettenhennen, only a stone’s throw from the Cologne Cathedral – we’re open every day of the year from 11am to 11pm!

Specials

Today, Lederer is a symbol of Cologne’s special culture, beloved both by locals as well as by guests from around the world. It’s a meeting point for the famous Cologne Carnival, as well as an events space for big occasions like the so-called Bavarian Weeks during Oktoberfest.

Enjoy local classics like pork knuckle with potato puree and sauerkraut, Rhenish sauerbraten with potato dumplings and red cabbage and of course, freshly tapped beer like Kölsch and hefeweizen. You’ll also find a menu of daily specials and seasonal highlights around asparagus season and Christmas. All of our dishes are made fresh without the addition of artificial flavours or colours, so you’re always in good hands with us.
